Mole mapping is a preventative surveillance service rather than a medically necessary treatment for an active condition. OHIP covers medically necessary dermatology visits, but preventative imaging programs like mole mapping fall outside that scope.

Many extended health benefit plans partially or fully reimburse mole mapping. We provide official receipts after each visit for you to submit to your insurer. Check with your plan provider for details.
